After my first and hopefully last fall, I got back up and rode the bike home. It was my beginner bike, 205 Exciter. My husband couldn't believe I got back on. Just like riding a horse. You got to get back on as soon as possible. I was a little more careful the next time out but not afraid.
When you love riding, you get back on. I was lucky and had full gear on also. I also had a full face at the time. My chin would have hit the ground. I don't wear a full face now, although I wonder if I should go back to one. I wear a half helmet, DOT approved.
